Ogun To Partner FG On Bitumen Exploration

Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun has stated that he is ready to provide the necessary political will and leadership that would ensure that the state fully benefits

from the huge bitumen deposit abound in three different local government areas of the state, by working with the federal government in this direction.

If this comes to fruition, the state stands to benefit immensely from the huge deposit of the natural resources which is expected to improve the socio and economic

development of the state.

The governor who made the promise during his campaign tour of Ijebu North local government traversed the length and breadth of the state to canvas vote for his re

election bid in the February governorship election.

In most of the wards visited, party supporters, groups and associations appreciated the infrastructural development posture of the administration which they said has

to continue.

The governor’s campaign train is currently at Ifo local government in continuation of his campaign tour.
